Audience Member I really loved this movie, Sean depicts a broken hearted man perfectly. The music was amazing and cannot wait to get the sound track. I Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautifully shot film that was a joy to watch and the music fantastic. There have been amazing reviews of this film from both the UK and the USA with awards won for outstanding film making. This along with the online trailer of the film made it a must see for me and I would recommend it it as a great watch to anyone. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Lovely film with great soundtrack. Some absolutely hilarious parts, mixed with a couple of plot holes and some stunning cinematography. Get the feeling some of the best bits with Gavin Mitchell had to be edited out. Perfect date movie. Peter Bradshaw Guardian There are some nice moments in this romantic comedy-drama from first-time screenwriter Laura Graham, but the romance and characterisation are so shallow and unconvincing. Rated: 2/5 Aug 4, 2016 Full Review Donald Clarke Irish Times It takes a while for this mess of an Irish comedy - or drama or musical or something - to spin off the rails, but, when it does, the careering vehicle will not be set back on course. Rated: 2/5 May 6, 2014 Full Review Stephen Puddicombe Total Film There's an undeniable sweetness to the songs our hero pens in an attempt to win Amy (Lorna Anderson) back -- but his cause isn't helped by stock characters, leisurely pacing and crude contrivances. Rated: 2/5 Jan 1, 2017 Full Review Henry Fitzherbert Daily Express (UK) [A] clumsy, far-fetched Irish romance. Rated: 2/5 Aug 7, 2016 Full Review David Edwards Daily Mirror (UK) The songs are strong, the acting impressive and the finale defiantly feelgood. Rated: 4/5 Aug 5, 2016 Full Review Jamie Dunn The Skinny Never mind songs for Amy, what this film needs is a lament. Rated: 1/5 Feb 20, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
