At the epicenter of the 1990s ecstasy drug trade in Arizona sits an unusual rivalry. Sons of Ecstasy tells a compelling story about the 1990s feud between former drug kingpins who had a fierce rivalry over dealing ecstasy in the Phoenix area. This documentary doesn't glorify their crimes and shows how greed comes at a heavy price.

There aren't many reviews up on it yet and there's nothing surer that the gravanos will be reading this so I'd like to leave a message for them. You are all nothing but scum. The amount of lives you've ruined your own included and you think that 'it's a badge of honour. Uneducated and pure and utter dogs of the street. If you even showed an ounce of remorse for the things you've all done I would never say such things but none of you deserve respect. Public punishment is not enough for you

90’s Phoenix ecstasy rave scene drug war movie with a compelling ending of criminals’ regret and family reconciliation. Very much a journalistic reporting genre documentary with some good rave scene imagery. Interesting but not great. Would make for a great 10 part Breaking Bad/Ryan Murphy true crime docudrama.

A very slow documentary about really despicable people. There is nothing redeemable about any of them. You can get more information about this boring story from several YouTube channels who have covered this over the past few years. I’d recommend passing on this ridiculous movie.
