At the epicenter of the 1990s ecstasy drug trade in Arizona sits an unusual rivalry. Sons of Ecstasy tells a compelling story about the 1990s feud between former drug kingpins who had a fierce rivalry over dealing ecstasy in the Phoenix area. This documentary doesn't glorify their crimes and shows how greed comes at a heavy price.

90’s Phoenix ecstasy rave scene drug war movie with a compelling ending of criminals’ regret and family reconciliation. Very much a journalistic reporting genre documentary with some good rave scene imagery. Interesting but not great. Would make for a great 10 part Breaking Bad/Ryan Murphy true crime docudrama.

A very slow documentary about really despicable people. There is nothing redeemable about any of them. You can get more information about this boring story from several YouTube channels who have covered this over the past few years. I’d recommend passing on this ridiculous movie.

First off, if you watch this, you're putting money in the pockets of some of the most horrible people on the planet, Attwood and the Gravanos. I watched the first half against my better judgment. It was slow, repetitive, and everything has been better covered and explained by a dozen different youtube videos. It paints these people in a positive light, like they really didn't do anything wrong, and gives them a platform to defend themselves as if what they did is defendable. Pass on this movie and learn the real story from media that they don't profit on.
