Jonathan Romney Screen International Sons of Ramses is an imaginative experiment that doesn’t entirely sustain itself, but while it does, it shows a left-field originality that’s eerily gripping. May 20, 2022 Full Review Daniel Gorman In Review Online The film isn’t successful as a thriller, although it eventually moves so far away from that particular form that it hardly matters. Instead, it becomes a halting, desperate grasping for profundity in an otherwise mundane, quotidian reality. May 28, 2022 Full Review Kevin Jagernauth The Playlist "Sons of Ramses” follows a man learning to let his guard down, and Leklou plays it invisibly, much in the same way that you don’t truly see a flower until it’s fully bloomed. His performance is tender, tough, and fascinating to watch unfold. Rated: B+ May 23, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
