Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A disappointment. As a person who loves revenge flicks I was looking forward to this, but alas...Soo failed to deliver. Despite Ji's good performance, his character was a bust. He started off pretty decently in the film and he was beautiful in the closing scene, but man was he a hot mess in the middle. At the start of the film Soo did seem like a character you would like to get to know, but as what little of his personality we were granted with started fading away...he became an absolute bore. He offered nothing, was more like a meat sack playing the physical roles of a man, and hardly seemed like such a good assassin - aside from during that one opening scene which he failed to live up to. There were no other outstanding characters, the fight scenes were snoozy, and half of the movie was done in such pitch black that it was hard to really make certain things out. Good concept - yet not exactly original (but that really doesn't matter) - the summary makes it seem more thrilling than it actually was.
