If anything, Soul is guilty of over-ambition. The wizardry and wit are there, but it lacks Pixar’s usual deftness in making complex themes sing for youngsters.

It is a little scattergun in its approach, and the ontology may be a bit much for kids, but even they will relate to its message about appreciating life’s smaller pleasures, which this year feels like a good one.

Overrated, but I can understand why people liked it. The main character's personality is an interesting concept, but the story takes the absolute mockery towards death (not like what day of the dead films like Coco and Book of Life did,) I mean as in a disrespectful way. Also, it kinda feels like an Inside Out sequel that got changed during the writing process.

I've seen the film..and for some people..well..let's say they float above the surface. But this movie shows..life is deeper than you think. Your spark isn't your purpose..it's just something to fill in the last box... And one you've done that..that mean your ready to live...Disney made the movie really nicely. Ending made me cry. Just know that reviews depend from person to person. You have to watch it first...and after you do...slow down..and just..feel.. That's all I have to say... The rest is upto you
