If anything, Soul is guilty of over-ambition. The wizardry and wit are there, but it lacks Pixar’s usual deftness in making complex themes sing for youngsters. Go to Full Review

It is a little scattergun in its approach, and the ontology may be a bit much for kids, but even they will relate to its message about appreciating life’s smaller pleasures, which this year feels like a good one. Go to Full Review

P A T J @RT05544441 7h One of my fave Pixar movie. See more CHANDAN P @RT84482657 1d I've seen the film..and for some people..well..let's say they float above the surface. But this movie shows..life is deeper than you think. Your spark isn't your purpose..it's just something to fill in the last box... And one you've done that..that mean your ready to live...Disney made the movie really nicely. Ending made me cry. Just know that reviews depend from person to person. You have to watch it first...and after you do...slow down..and just..feel.. That's all I have to say... The rest is upto you See more Alecks K @artemsol 2d Helped ease my own crises regarding my life and career choices. I was not expecting that at all given I watched this movie on a whim and to see if it's really as bad as what people said it was due to first impressions. See more Johnwil B @Johnwil123 Mar 22 nerve racking and it made me cry, it means this movie is beautiful and a perfect representation of how or what purpose of life gonna be. See more Rich L. @turnerfan77 Mar 21 I don’t think I have revisited Pixar’s Soul since its release on Disney+ and I forgot just what a beautiful movie it is. This is Pixar’s mature theme film wrapped in beautiful animation. They handle the themes perfectly for kids and adults. A great voice cast. Unique and beautiful animation. This underrated film is a must see. What really stood out to me right away was how different it felt compared to a typical Pixar movie. It’s definitely not as action-packed or joke-heavy as something like Toy Story or The Incredibles. Instead, it leans more into big, philosophical ideas about life, purpose, and what actually makes living worthwhile. That might sound heavy, but the movie balances it surprisingly well with humor, especially through the character of 22. Their interactions with Joe were easily some of the best parts of the film. Overall pretty good. See more Read all reviews
