Audience Member Minimalist documentary which allows the artists themselves to explain what it was like being involved with the London scene in the 1964-73 era. Fairly well edited, Rolling Stones seem to dominate (which is appropriate for the era). Lots of concert clips and a few early videos - and they are all full songs! Just a shame that Otis Redding & Cat Stevens weren't featured more prominently. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Clumsily constructed and edited mish-mash performances by some of the bigger names of the time. No narrative at all and nothing to place the music or the performers in any kind of historical context. Best bit is Rod Stewart's reaction when he realises he hasn't grabbed the microphone. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an excellent documentary on British and American groups involved with the scene in the British Invasion of the 60's. It was disappointing that The Beatles weren't on here but it was an excellent documentary. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent footage but you have probably seen it all on other films. Some of the concerts are overdubbed with the wrong version of the song, which ruins it all. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
