South Bronx Heroes is a drama that is way better than its reputation would suggest. I found it to be a very effective drama about the ghetto and runaways and how very different lives can cross into each other in unexpected ways. The story is well written, the acting is pretty good, there are moments of really funny humor, and some heartfelt moments sprinkled in the right places. It's a very underrated drama, in my opinion.

A.K.A South Bronx Warriors in some territories. At the heart of this is a hard hitting drama about two runaways from foster care who are abused and forced into child pornography by their foster parents, who somehow get mixed up with Van Peebles who attempts to bribe the foster parents for monetary gain. However the film is so badly shot, edited, directed and edited that other then a bargain bin the only other place you are likely to find this is on some obscure satellite channel so late in the night that its actually early morning.
