07/11/2010 Fascinating stuff. Would have liked it if it had been a little longer, but then it's a TV movie, so what can you do? Would have enjoyed watching this guy play and talk in his prime. I really admire Lee for playing the game for the "right" reasons. He is clearly an eccentric dude and not all the synapses are connecting correctly but his love of his teammates and of the game over all makes him a most likeable guy. His competitive spirit perhaps only surpassed by his passion for the game. Having met him once while he was touring Western Canada (oddly enough, on the day Red Sox legend Ted Williams passed away) it was interesting to get a well rounded look at his career and philosophies on life.
