SICKS6SIX If you were not depressed before you watched this you will be afterwards, not just because of the storyline, but I found it like watching a slowly dying flower, it's a true story and this makes it more watchable I suppose, the Nazis were bad, they did bad things to good people and bad people, anyone come to think of it, cinematically it's quite good, but the camera keeps moving as if you're on a ship which is annoying., but watching it is tedious, it's like living someone's miserable life day by day hour by hour, like watching sand run through a giant 2 hour egg timer. .It jumps from the 1940s to the 1970s constantly, and you need full attention to keep up with these time changes, this is more than annoying it is stupid, some films will start off in the past which are set today and at the end return to the past but constantly jumping between the two time lines is just awful to watch, Lots of films have covered this subject better, I think the makers forgot it has to be entertaining, according to some people in the know It's not true to fact anyway, I recommend giving it a miss and watching Schindler's List if you want a depressing WW2 film about the nasty Nazis. At least you will be entertained as well as informed and not nearly as depressed.. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/01/22 Full Review Audience Member Despite some technical problems such as a Nazi officer with a Polish accent I found the performance captured my attention and compassion. To see these struggles and the relationships within Poland was heart stopping. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Depressing as can be Spring 1941 leaves viewers fighting back tears of anger and sadness. Playing on the emotions of the Nazi crimes Spring 1941 easily evokes emotion but feels a bit cliche which in the end really hurts it's overall effect. Still a fine movie in the WWII library even if a bit forced. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie info is totally wrong Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a nicely done story about one family's struggle to survive as the Nazis took over Poland. It is a tragic story and won't appeal to everyone. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Chillingly realistic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
