James Plath Family Home Theater Trace Adkins looks like a character you'd see in the Old West, but he's not much of an actor. Audience Member Stage coach is a B-movie western. The actors may look the part and a fair amount of shooting but the whole movie feels cheap. The acting is bad all around I feel the actors were literally struggling to memorize their lines. The story is predictable in the script is garbage. It’s your typical low budget B-movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/19 Full Review Audience Member Worse Western ever. The acting was laughable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I've never seen a western B-movie before this. There are redeeming qualities to this film but they are outweighed my the intriguingly poor plot. The acting isn't so bad if you consider the low quality of the script. I would recommend watching this, just so you appreciate other westerns more. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Good western realistically done and with good acting and a genuine country folk feel. Well well worth a look. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/18 Full Review Audience Member 170102: Stagecoach presents a challenge to my belief structure. For years I've been taking risks with direct to DVD westerns. The majority of the time I am not rewarded. Every once in awhile however, I am. It is these seemingly rare gems, and my addiction to westerns, that keep me coming back for more. Now, a story featuring Kim Coates (Calhoun) must be a good thing right? After more than 50 years on this planet, you'd think I'd base my decision on the odds, or what I have learned, not on some character I recognize from a motorcycle gang television series. Further, I should've known better than to chase another western staring Trace Adkins (Nathaniel Reed). History has shown his name equates, at best, to a mediocre film product. I hate to disrespect the man because obviously he has passion, and is enthusiastic about westerns, but he is not Tarantino material. Neither is the overly stiff Claude Duhamel (Frank Bell). Finally, I've found few successful westerns that feature a believable hardcore female gun hand. Helena Marie, playing Calhoun's sidekick Bonnie Mudd, only strengthens my belief.
