Set ten years after the events of "The Phantom Menace," the Republic continues to be mired in strife and chaos. A separatist movement encompassing hundreds of planets and powerful corporate alliances poses new threats to the galaxy that even the Jedi cannot stem. These moves, long planned by an as yet unrevealed and powerful force, lead to the beginning of the Clone Wars -- and the beginning of the end of the Republic.

The computer-generated effects dazzle, and the story, while complicated in the manner of a comic-book serial, clips along at a decent pace. Go to Full Review

As routine as much of "Clones" is, the movie nevertheless does offer its share of impressive, effects-driven sequences. Go to Full Review

stephenpaul C @ash20261234567890 3 days ago The worldwide gross is $649,398,328.00. See more Henry C @henryczar Sep 5, 2026 THIS MOVIE WAS VERY GOOD!! I’D DEFINITELY WATCH AGAIN! See more Peter F @Pfit1990 Sep 4, 2026 This one has some laughably cheesy moments between Anakin and Padme, but it works for this movie. Still a beautiful Roman tragedy-esque fantasy epic. Despite some clunky flaws, the plot is so epic it erases all flaws. There is no other sci-fi concept as original and grand as the Jedi--universal peacekeepers who feel eachother's pain, adhere to idealistic moral concepts, and use the Force. There isn't one thing I'd change about this trilogy, the amazing plot, spectacular action, and emotional stakes with Anakin wanting to save his mother from slavery, Anakin's turn to the dark side, and more. George Lucas is a master at tying the action to real emotional consequences such as Luke and his father of course. This is a tragic story that remains interesting to watch over and over despite knowing what happens. So many games and lore in my childhood were based off these figures. Ewan McGregor steps strongly into the shoes of Jedi Master Obi-Wan, perhaps outdoing the original Obi-Wan actor. See more Pouya R @pouya_personal Sep 3, 2026 Attack of the Clones was a very positive experience for me. One of the things I enjoyed most was the incredible music. The score does more than simply accompany the scenes—it captures Anakin’s emotions and inner struggles beautifully, while also giving his story a strong sense of fate and destiny. I also really enjoyed the emotional side of the film. Anakin’s character and the feelings he struggles with gave the story a much more personal dimension. At the same time, the expanded world-building and political elements made the Star Wars universe feel bigger and more interesting. See more Jasmine W @jasniquejewels Aug 31, 2026 I actually liked this one the clones and the rain on kamino are some of my favorite parts. See more Olivia S @RT18438227 Aug 30, 2026 This movie is kinda over-hated. Yes, the romance is awkward and it could've been better, but the overall plot is pretty good. The Battle of Geonosis and Count Dooku was all awesome. It also builds up to the Clone Wars show, which is genuinely 5 stars See more Read all reviews
