His characters, as is now his norm, are plastic puppets, even in the confectionary love scenes. Most of their dialogue is so doughy that it could be spooned into comic-strip balloons. Lucas simply has no interest in these people.

This movie deserves more respect. Everyone complains about Haydens acting, but trying to convey about 8 emotions that are ever conflicting, I think he did a damn good job. People think the sand line is stupid and awkward, but it's because it reminds him of his life as a slave, it's not just about the sand (although I do love the memes). I can't describe how much I loved this movie as a kid, and was beyond stoked we got a new, nice clean, bounty hunter that was Bobas FATHER! I'm gonna get hated on, but I think this is the 2nd best of the 6 movies after Revenge of the Sith.

No way near as bad as people make it out to be. Although not perfectly executed, Anakin’s character development works for the most part and gets its point across. A lot of what makes Star Wars great is still present here to. Epic world building, as well as another unbelievable John Williams score makes it worth a watch alone. The movie also introduces one of the best things in Star Wars, the clone troopers!

The worst Lucas film for sure. Every time I try to watch it I get to where Anakin starts talking about sand and shut it off. Mcgregor is the best part. Truly wish they had more practical effects. Everything just looks fake

This is the worst Star Wars movie that George Lucas was involved in. The romance is stretched, the fight choreography is pretty good. As is George Lucas tradition he nails the final act. The first two acts are stretched and the dialogue is excruciatingly bad, however, I really don't like sand, it's coarse, rough, irritating, and it gets everywhere.
