It took 3 movies but they finally found the plot of the trilogy. Would have been great if this plot (that was supposed to be building the whole trilogy) was hinted at in ANY of the other two movies, but at least the writers finally did something remotely interesting. Because of the interesting plot twist, this movie wasn’t as bad as the previous two, but becuase it lacked any build up, it was still pretty flimsy.

Multitudes of insultingly dumb storylines, lazy set pieces, awful dialogue and bad writing made this my dark horse guilty pleasure of the Rey trilogy. It was so bad, I found myself laughing uncontrollably as several scenes unfolded. The unintentional comedy on display was B movie gold. I noticed more than a few other theater goers doing the same. It’s very fitting I suppose, Star Wars has earned its reputation as the laughing stock of all franchises.
