This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen! There is really no reason for it to exist. The acting is fair to poor, and the subject matter tries to be inspiring, but really it simply is depressing! A struggling family due to an unfortunate medical experience is not enough to develop plot, and this movie has very little plot ! It is difficult to watch, but if there were redeeming moments where as a viewer, we could sit back and say, "yeah … I get it! There really is a point to this struggle" … but there is not. As far as i am concerned, the whole thing is a waste of time and energy.

Interesting family drama about what happens when the dad is horribly disfigured. Pretty well done, and tugs on the heartstrings. Of course, once past the initial hospitalization, it is predictable and trite, although how much crying can you pack in a single movie?
