StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 34 minutes of British-American comedy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Flat, humorless comedy that wastes a really impressive collection of actors. Tries to be zany with a buttoned-up Brit playing off a family of southern wackos, but nothing works. It's not that the jokes bomb; they're just nonexistent. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member When American producers saw Daniel Day-Lewis, they brought him over here with a huge contract and gave him a comedy script. He is brilliant, with microscopic precision, as in everything, and the movie does kind of linger in your memory, but the script is so very bad that he never did a comedy again. You should not miss his other comedy, though: Eversmile, New Jersey--deserves to be a noted classic, and isn't even listed on this site. You can get VHS tapes of it on ebay, though.
