Michael Upchurch Seattle Times They showcase not just the acting chops of Colin Firth, Lily Tomlin, Julia Stiles and others, but some fresh writing-directing talents, too. Rated: 3/4 Sep 28, 2012 Full Review Walter V. Addiego San Francisco Chronicle "Stars in Shorts" lives up to its title by offering the likes of Judi Dench, Colin Firth, Jason Alexander, Keira Knightley, Lily Tomlin, Kenneth Branagh and Julia Stiles in films ranging from eight to 25 minutes. Rated: 3/4 Sep 28, 2012 Full Review Wesley Morris Boston Globe The performances in tandem with the writing take most of these seven movies to interesting places. Audience Member Every video was amazing on its own, but getting to sit through all of them, ranging from sci-fi, musical, to comedy, makes you appreciate the amazing acting chops of these actors. It also makes you realize every director always tries to put a "twist" in their shorts though... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member While all of the shorts have something to offer, the standout is clearly Robert Festinger's The Procession. Brilliantly directed with superb acting, the film will leave you wishing it was a full length feature. For those fortunate enough to see it, The Procession will be the best 12 minutes of your day. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A fun ride and something new to see, especially if you are tired of the mostly bad features that clog theaters these days. I saw these last night and laughed out loud in some. Worth it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member These are fantastic films and a great ride....but you have to know how to watch a short---they're not features, much more intense and have the variety of a film festival. Great laughs and plenty of shock.
