Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Without the Marx Brothers, the music improves but the comedy proves witless. Rated: C+ May 9, 2008 Full Review John J. Puccio Movie Metropolis ...empty-headed, to be sure, but it's also breezy, lightweight, antic fun Rated: 6/10 May 3, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member While this remake of Room Service (1938) doesn't have the Marx Brothers, it does have Frank Sinatra, Adolphe Menjou, Gloria De Haven and Eugene Pallette and a plethora of humor. Some may have a hard time swallowing Frank Sinatra as a wide-eyed innocent. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member ok musical most noteworthy as the chairman's first lead Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Sinatra is in fine voice but this musical is minor in almost every way. A good supporting cast is wasted. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Minor but entertaining musical, nothing about the films stands out, but Frank Sinatra does quite well and it has a good supporting cast. Some good, but not very memorable songs and musical numbers.
