Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/02/22 Full Review robert p Not as good as some other movies, but still slightly okay from 2 Female actors!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member When it comes to out of the box premises sometimes you have to suspend disbelief to enjoy the film, but when there isn't any enjoyment this courtesy you give the film expires. For an ambitious premise the story and dialogue struggles to carry the film. The paste of the film seems to limp it's self to the finish line. The characters don't seem to leave a moral on the film. All these factors add up to be a very memorable movie but not in the way that warms the heart. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Bad watch, probably won't watch again, and can't recommend. This is one of the movies that came out of the low budget studios that Disney owns and will stamp "Disney" on, but clearly aren't part of "Disney Studios" or the Disney budget. That wouldn't matter as much if the writing or acting was really good. Courtnee Draper was a decent actress in this, and poor Tamara Hope had such a horribly awkward character that I can't tell if she was the best actress playing a bad character or the worst actress. Most of the rest of the character land around this level. While "The Secret World of Alex Mack" proved otherwise, this movie really makes me feel like we do not need to mix high school social drama with alien invasion, ever. There are just so many other things to watch out there, don't waste time on this one. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member She's not like other girls, she's a bubble. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Self-referentially vapid. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Michael Speier Variety "Stepsister" definitely has that certain goofy charm that makes so much of Disney's fare light and likable: everyone smiles, nobody gets hurt, and fantasy looms large.
