Audience Member This a tremendous film that showed the true story of man who had all the world could offer but who was empty until he accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Very good movie. Wonderful story of God's mercy and transforming power. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing Documentary... The King of Cool Gave His heart to the King of Kings. He found the peace we all desire, and I believe at last found what he had been seeking all His life. How cool is it. That Rev. Billy Graham did not pass away until this movie was put out to the World... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member If you know Steve McQueen, this is a must-see movie that completes the story of this life. He was truly an icon of his time and this movie is well worth seeing to learn of what you might not otherwise have known about him. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Mel Gibson is one of the people who explain and show exactly why, with movie shots, as to why Steve McQueen stole every shot against other actors--very funny. Very entertaining and enlightening. Loved every moment of this well done film. All kinds of extra tidbits on this actor. I'm reading the book also. Very good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member We were given tickets by some good friends, who, unfortunately, could not join us. I would never have bought tickets to see this movie, but I did really enjoy it. I thought it was a good retrospective of McQueen's career and childhood, as well as, his religious conversion. I wouldn't say it is for everyone, but we did like it. It is a Fathom Special event and will be rebroadcast on October 10th if you are interested... Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Its hammering home of the religious angle in the final segment feels more than a little heavy-handed. Sep 27, 2017 Full Review Megan Basham WORLD The most compelling parts of the film are recordings where McQueen himself appears to be trying to dispel his title as "The King of Cool" and talks quietly and humbly about the pain that led him to Christ. Feb 21, 2018 Full Review Kenneth R. Morefield Christianity Today it adopts a modest, understated tone while chronicling the Hollywood star's troubled childhood, spiritual seeking, and eventual self-identification as born-again Christian.
