Audience Member Average, sometimes preposterous crime drama. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A couple of college kids get involved with scamming money and getting involved with the mob. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member i love seth green, but this movie was weird. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Stonebrook (1998) – A parentless 23 y.o. (Brad Rowe), working the family farm since he was 18, is offered an opportunity to escape his hard life through an exclusive private college with the help of a family friend. There’s a technical problem with his college scholarship and he is forced to choose between going back to the farm or working with a local criminal in exchange for tuition. Greed gets the best of the boy and soon things get out of control. Of course, there’s the obligatory love story with a weird connection to his life of crime. The movie seemed to plug along with just enough going on to keep your attention. The story was unpredictable, but the twists in the plot were soft (like driving a Cadillac down a curvy road). Its strongest point was its soundtrack, an interesting mix of music. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
