Smarting from a romantic breakup, macho police Sgt. Joe Bomowski (Sylvester Stallone) gets a cross-country visit from his mother, Tutti (Estelle Getty). Her misguided efforts to help only fray his nerves, but that doesn't stop her from nagging Joe to be more open about his feelings toward his ex-girlfriend and current boss, Lt. Gwen Harper (JoBeth Williams). When Tutti witnesses a brutal multiple murder, she takes her meddling to the extreme by tagging along to help her son solve the case.

A refreshing reminder that sometimes movies can be everything they need to be by offering nothing more than a hairbrained setup or a particularly delicious cast pairing, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot delivers exactly what it promises, and delightfully so.

Filme ruim, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, só a cena final da destruição do avião foi bacana mas isso nãofoi o suficiente para o filme ser ruim, depois disso o filme continua ruim, essa história de colocar o stallone com a sua mãe é horrível, e ainda no final a mãe do personagem do stallone mata o vilão do filme, vai toma no cu, forçou muito, com tudo isso, o filme é ruim, nem mesmo o próprio stallone como protagonista para salvar esse filme, e Eu não recomendo esse filme.

Yeah sure, it's generally terrible, but I don't care, I have nostalgia for this movie, and some of the goofy, clunky antics between Stallone and Getty still work on me.
