Ann Ross Maclean's Magazine Most movie goers will find it a wonderful relief after the recent round of dizzy comedies, which send one out wondering if it is the producers or ourselves who are going crazy. Steve D I didn't find it remotely amusing and Leigh is wasted. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Audience Member Storm in a Teacup is not only an excellent film but also has many influential traits like those seen on Miracle On 34th Street and other films that followed. The story follows the trials of politics, compassion for others as well as oneself; all qualities found within this classic Scottish movie! It's so exciting to see young and early performances from Rex Harrison, Vivian Leigh. In modern days the antagonist would be treated more roughly but for its time Storm in a Teacup is just one great watch you should have on hand with your favourite scone and cup of tea. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Tom M This underrated gem is considered by some as one of the best British comedies of the decade. Young Rex Harrison exudes his usual clever devil-may-care attitude and gorgeous Vivien Leigh lights up every scene. Cecil Parker makes the whole thing possible, playing Leigh's blowhard, arrogant (and possibly fascist ) father. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/20 Full Review Audience Member This isn't something that's a mist watch as far as classics, Viviene Leigh, or Rex Harrison are concerned. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member lessor known Vivian Leigh/Rex Harrison but still watchable Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Aptly titled little bit of silliness with winning performances from its cast of future stars.
