Stephen B Aug 11 I happen to love movies made in an era when we had real actors and no cgi. If you like me want to watch a decent film from a bygone era I can thoroughly recommend this film. I do not remember much about this movie with the exception of a few times I thought the soundtrack was good and some of the visuals were cool. I've seen the story of Robin Hood many times in many different ways and this did not impress anything unique about it. The setting was nice, and the scenery was pretty realistic. Colour picture is nice, and the music fits the scenes. Richard Todd's acting was great, and even without the need of special effects.
