This is difficult to watch at moments but definitely a cautionary tale. The love of money and allure of the streets has destroyed many people. Desiree made many destructive choices but the worst two were not believing in herself and thinking she was nothing. Soulless from the emptiness she felt from allowing herself to be used, Desiree was doomed from the start. I wish this movie could save the many Desirees in the world.
