Peter Bradshaw Guardian It can be crass, but there is merit in this movie's sense of time and place. Rated: 3/5 Nov 17, 2017 Full Review Ed Potton Times (UK) ... achieves the unusual feat of being nasty - and boring. Rated: 2/5 Nov 17, 2017 Full Review Stephen Dalton Hollywood Reporter A robust, atmospheric suspense thriller that shows how politics and personal ambition can have a toxic effect on justice. Oct 22, 2017 Full Review Naila Scargill Trebuchet As the killer (a very good Károly Hajduk) stalks his victims, the shots are stylised and would not feel out of place in a slasher movie. Feb 28, 2019 Full Review Matt Whittle One Room With A View A topsy-turvy mystery and some arresting visuals in a narrative that doesn't pull any punches make Strangled well worth the watch - just make sure you're in the right mood for it. Rated: 4/5 Feb 19, 2019 Full Review Alexa Dalby Dog and Wolf A formidable achievement. Rated: 4/5 Aug 27, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Not top of the class. A chilling story told though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/23/18 Full Review Nathan A Authentic looking 50s true story of Hungarian serial rapist. First half hour is very violent and graphic. It gets more interesting after that. Pacing, Cinematography, Lighting and acting well done. Probably the best part of the movie is the skill of the director, small town Hungary, and the primitive soviet-era buildings. I would not seek this movie out. But it was enjoyable. Interested to see what the director will do next. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/18 Full Review Audience Member Strangled possède surement Une histoire intéressante sur papier , et ce en dépit de personnages peu développés et de scènes de sexe gratuites et inutiles, mais qui malheureusement est une adaptation (basé sur une histoire vraie) très décevante, voir ennuyante Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
