It's not an easy film to watch, especially because so many of Jeff's family members are themselves walking disasters. But the performances by Gyllenhaal and Maslany make the ordeal worthwhile.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

It's a slow burn, and not the easiest watch, but it is rewarding. Gyllenhall excels and several scenes are gripping enough to stay with you long after the film. It's a film with heart, but one you have to be in a specific mood to want to watch again.

It just kinda didn't really have much to tell, the actors are doing a good job but I don't think the screenplay translated good from the book, so it left it very dull and honestly hard to watch…
