Part old-school critter camp, part new-school mentality, Stung features some incredible special effects, tons of wickedly fun kills, as well as a strong script from Adam Aresty that does an excellent job balancing out the humor and horror.

I was actually pretty surprised by this. It's a fun creature feature throwback. Even the effects surpassed what I was expecting. The lead girl starts off pretty awful, but becomes bearable as the movie goes on.

Incredibly underrated and surprisingly high quality. Dialogue leaves much to be desired but effects both digital and practical where fun to watch. Definitely not Oscer worthy but defenetly worth a watch with friends.

It gets points for good uses of practical effects, lots of gore and goo, and a unique setting. But as far a interesting story or likable characters go, it falls short. Some bits are dumb, and most of the movie is just people hiding away. It doesn't really stick out much from the typical killer insect movie, but it is fun at times.
