Cmdr. Richard Bolton (James Caan) was in charge of a submarine that was sunk by a German ship, and he has been blamed for the loss of 50 sailors. Now exonerated of misconduct, he is heading a mission to use minisubs to reach a German battleship commanded by Capt. Erlich (George Pravda). During training, Bolton encounters some of his previous crew members, all of whom harbor grudges against him, which further complicates the already dangerous mission.

Audience Member Run of the mill WWII fare, but watchable. James CaN seems out of place with all British cast in Royal Navy, but this is rationalized by him being a Canuck. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member James Caan plays a tough Canadian sub captain training a team for a dangerous mission into Nazi waters. However, it's a lot of talk and rather dull.
