Kyle J Great idea for a movie, but the author was too lazy to think up a legitimate reason for the driver to want to hide the victim instead of just calling 911. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review KEVIN C When a normal everyday family man hits a stranger with his car and presumes he's dead, panics and drives home with the man on his hood. When he realizes he's not dead, his initial instinct to flee now has him thinking of different deadly options. This wasn't too bad. There's a similar movie like this from Stuart Gordon called Stuck that is far more enjoyable, this one isn't bad and deals a lot with the moral dilemma. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/03/22 Full Review Rob S Just plain entertainment somewhat off-verse to 'Reservoir Dogs,' 'Suburbanite' follows the story of Mack who has a bad run of luck with his world, his social niche, and his sociability. Mack loses a lot in a fast way. Then he meets John by accident, who introduces his passion. Something of an amusing piece that has a cast who definitely can act, although you'll probably be unconvinced by Mack's superhuman ability to recover from being turned into roadkill -- he's probably one of the undead in disguise, although there is no zombie apocalpyse to this film unless from a con artist's point-of-view. All in all, the characters each seem to have chemistry of a flavor all their own, and acting isn't sub-par although it's pretty good at times. A 'thinking man's' drama!
