02/19/2013 A female Paul Kersey emerges in NY after she is brutally assaulted. Violent exploitation fare. Film never really connects on an emotional level with the victim, which is its biggest failing--she's cold as ice. If she wasn't so attractive, I wonder if the NYPD would have made good on the follow up visit. See more 10/27/2012 Tourists beware, New York seems to have a sex fiend around every corner. Essentially a female Death Wish. A rape victim uses herself as bait (played by a former Miss Australia) to find and kill rapists. Her first trip as bait was to a rough tavern that, despite not being a male gay bar, appeared to have no women in it. Police in this film go the extra mile in their duty and actually place a phone call to the crime victim so she can be present and witness her attackers arrest.
