Calin B I had the pleasure of watching ‘suicide for beginners ‘ at a London festival and had an absolute blast. Although some might argue it is not nicely shot or it’s not scary enough , they’d be missing the point. What I liked about this film is the confidence it had in being an absurdist, very darkly comedic indie feature. I found it highly reminiscent of films by Todd Solondz, the Duplass brothers and American mumbelcore cinematic movement in general. Tight script with a consistently entertaining pace and one particular scene that is absolutely hilarious in its savagery. An indie darling. Suicide for Beginners absolutely rocks! The dialogue is sharp and witty and the acting is on point, especially actor Nate Panning. The movie starts out crazy and gradually builds up to over the top insane. If you're into dark comedies, I highly recommend giving this film a watch. R.I.P.
