Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Sunset Edge has a visually poetic quality that goes a long way towards compensating for its opaquely nonlinear, barely there narrative. May 29, 2015 Full Review Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com An unusual, ambitious failure, mostly because the film's hyper-naturalistic style is meant to evoke a supernatural mood. Rated: 1.5/4 May 29, 2015 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times Full of striking images but badly overestimates the entertainment value of abandoned trailer parks for the average moviegoer. May 29, 2015 Full Review Violet LeVoit AllMovie This resolutely lo-fi and hauntingly lovely movie . . . ventures instead into the hypnagogic minimalist territory of other beautiful head-scratchers like Last Year at Marienbad or Picnic at Hanging Rock. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 3, 2015 Full Review Matt Brunson Creative Loafing The movie is being pushed by its makers as "Hitchcockian," but that's hardly the case. If anything, the film's natural look, isolated setting and supernaturally tinged tale bring to mind The Blair Witch Project far more than any Hitchcock endeavor. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 1, 2015 Full Review Lawrence Toppman Charlotte Observer The first fiction feature by writer-director Daniel Peddle casts a slow, somber spell. Audience Member Another coming of age film by director Daniel Peddle but this one has a bit of a thriller feel. Set in what seems like an abandoned gothic town and not much seems to happen through out the film but there is a slight feeling of uneasiness that you experience watching this. His depiction of young men coming of age is beautiful, sweet, innocent at times and curious. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member It was so haunting and beautiful. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Fresh film with a cast of unkowns. Skillfully directed the characters take you on a slow but compelling journey through a trailer park but really through the lives of the characters. The film plays with expectations but rewards the viewer with a deeply personal insight into the lives of young people today. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Lovely film. Truly enjoyed watching this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Being someone who has lived in a trailer park, I found this very accurate to what used to be my way of life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Cool young cast!. They will be stars. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
