Kara Zor‑El vive em Argo City, uma cidade kryptoniana que sobreviveu à destruição do planeta graças ao omegahedron. Quando o artefato se perde, ela parte em sua busca, chegando à Terra. Aqui, o objeto cai nas mãos de Selena, uma bruxa que pretende usá‑lo para dominar o mundo. Kara assume a identidade de Linda Lee enquanto tenta recuperá‑lo. Se Superman 3 já havia decepcionado ao virar veículo de humor para Richard Pryor, Supergirl aprofunda esse problema: roteiro infantil, personagens rasos, efeitos fracos e desperdício de talentos como Faye Dunaway, Peter O’Toole e Mia Farrow. Helen Slater se esforça, mas não salva o filme. Dunaway exagera, e sua vilã, apesar de poderosa, perde tempo disputando um romance banal. As cenas de bullying no colégio são gratuitas e só servem para encher espaço. Superman 3, Supergirl e Superman 4 arruinaram a franquia, que só voltou aos trilhos recentemente. Resta torcer para que o novo filme da Supergirl faça justiça à personagem

One of my all time favourite films! Yes it is it problems, but is fun, visually great and the music is phenomenal. Dont go into it taking it to seriously and you’ll have a blast!
