I absolutely loved the movie. It had all the elements that I enjoyed from the Christopher Reeve O.G. , romance, action, suspense, and humor. Was it perfect?, Nope, but neither was the original Richard Donner movies of the day. Yet, you rooted for and cared for the characters. This version has me eagerly awaiting all the new films in the modern cannon, Supergirl , being the next one. Oh, and there are some real scene stealers , one being Krypto, the super dog, great CGI , that makes you believe he is real. David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan are great as their respective main characters, Clark Kent aka Superman, and Lois Lane. There is a unique twist to the relationship, and I won't spoil it here. David brings it all in as the Man of Steel with a modern twist and Rachel updates Lois into a modern day strong woman. The performances don't disappoint. Be ready for a fun ride from start to finish and then he ready to catch the next films that are already in the works!
