Audience Member This is a MUST watch movie for everyone irrespective of their age, gender or faith. Their is so much to learn from the life of Mata Sahib Kaur ji. How we can follow the footsteps of Mata Ji to raise saint soldiers like S. Jassa Singh Ahluwalia. In the day and age where females were oppressed and suppressed, had no rights to education Mata Sahib Kaur Ji lead Khalsa Pantheon for so many years. My 9 year old is so fascinated by the child version of 'Poota Mata Ki Asees' and keeps listening to it on loop. The young child singer is so amazing and talented with a beautiful voice. In Religious Studies when teaching the Sikhi/Sikhism unit we focus on: -The power of Mool Mantar -The role of Guru Gobind Singh Ji -The role of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji -The significance of the names Singh and Kaur -The meaning and types of Seva -Equality within Sikhi -Vaisakhi -Amrit Sanchar and meaning of 5Ks This movie covers many of these specification elements whilst providing 90 minutes of inspiration especially focused on female empowerment and the role of Faith, especially in following Hukam (God's Will). I would recommend this Movie to Sikhs and non Sikhs, especially Religious Studies teachers in understanding the power, love & strength of a true female leader, warrior and spiritual powerhouse. A true leader, ahead of her time, and an important figure in the Sikh faith; the story of Supreme Motherhood is for all. A smashing soundtrack with the top artists of Bollywood and the Sikh faith world. After Chaar Sahibzade it was crucial to understand which females inspired the children of Guru Gobind Singh Jee to create such seismic waves in history of Bravery, Endurance and Selfless Sacrifice.
