Audience Member Grab a couple beers, sit back and laugh. Campy as all heck and a good time. Fun to see the various cameos of people you will recognize. Eric Roberts is hilarious... not what you see him normally do! Worth a watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun, Charming superhero movie with just enough camp to balance out their lack of a Marvel budget :-) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly and goofy...but fun! This film might not be for everyone, but if you like the low-budget, superhero comedy genre, then you're going to love it. Yes, it's a bit hokey and silly, but that's exactly why it is so much fun to follow this gay superhero who fights intolerance. The flick has heart! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun comedic superhero indie film with a message and top level cast. If you want a lighthearted entertaining film to watch, this is it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Very fun! This has cult classic written all over it. The cast had lots to work with here in this very funny script by director-writer duo Antonio Lexerot and Vincent Roth. Lots of laughs and some great cameos by the likes of Lou Ferrigno, Lind Blair and Eric Roberts. I'm excited to see more from these guys! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A passionate homage to the superhero genre. Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel is filled with a great ensemble cast plus many cameos of genre stars (Eric Roberts was a highlight for me) and is sprinkled with good-hearted themes, and comedy all throughout. A nice indie offering. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Lexerot and Roth may be godawful filmmakers, but they certainly have one hell of a Rolodex. Jan 5, 2018 Full Review Kimber Myers Los Angeles Times Despite good intentions, a positive message and gay lead, it couldn't save a kitten stuck in a tree. Jan 4, 2018 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Benefits greatly from its terrific ensemble cast. Rated: 3.0/4.0 Sep 24, 2020 Full Review Johnny Gayzmonic Fanboys of the Universe You might cringe at some moments, but you'll also probably laugh and maybe even have a good time. I'd watch this for 24 hours straight before watching Fan4stic ever again. Rated: 6/10 May 22, 2020 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed nfortunately uneven which is one of those "too bad" situation as the film has a ton of potential yet it doesn't fully bring forward in its final result. It's a decent watch with lovely ideas and people behind it. Rated: 3/5 Apr 12, 2020 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation A super hero fan-convention comedy sequel that sets out to be awful, and succeeds. Rated: 1/4 Feb 9, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
