Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Generic romcom fails to surprise; some language, sex. Rated: 2/5 Oct 22, 2019 Full Review Tim Brennan About Boulder Surprise Me!, the new film from writer/director Nancy Goodman, feels like more of the same, but it's got a unique subplot that deserves your attention. Aug 4, 2019 Full Review Jeff Mitchell Phoenix Film Festival You might not scream at the big screen, but don't be surprised if your inside voice wishes for a much better rom-com. Rated: 1/4 Aug 3, 2019 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat Surprise Me! beats a little life into its contribution to the very crowded market of Rom-Coms. The film is good and will appeal to fans of the genre, but doesn't do enough to transcend it... Rated: 7/10 Jun 24, 2019 Full Review Tony Medley tonymedley.com Contrary to Gertrude Stein, there is some there here, but it's inscrutable. Rated: 7/10 Jun 3, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The funniest Nicole Sullivan movie ever, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Good watch, would watch again, and can recommend. This is a good, if somewhat standard, "boy next door" trope mixed with a "control freak" and " eating disorder" cliches. Fiona Gubelmann pretty much carries the movie, but she's good enough to watch it just for her. Sadly, I think this plays a factor as a lot of the movie is just her not accepting the availability of the guy she loves. Sure, it's a chick flick, but the way the break down and dissect the scenarios through the scenes is pretty good. It was an uplifting watch that I could really use at the time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Horrible movie, horrible message, trigger warning for emotionally abused or manipulated people. 0.5 stars for the acting which was great. The film was cringe worthy. Not a comedy at all. BUT a drama. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Great heart at the center of the film. Editing and overall script needed a little work but it's good for what it is! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was not interesting & written poorly . Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Outstanding, funny, emotional, spiritual, well written and produced! I laughed, I cried, it was real, loved the flow of storyline! Current topic, a must see for any parent raising children! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
