      Audience Member Unique and forgotten, just like the Turkish peasants of the countryside. Magnificent score, a passionate portrayal of human beings through an incredibly captured collage of landscapes and conflicts perfectly contrasted with a middle-development of civilzation, the vain symbol of "progress". It's a difficult film to judge, though, due to the incredible superstition by the family and their affinity to blood and descendance, but what would you condemn the most: that, or the discrimination of people just because of their geographical origin? 99/100 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Vigorous and a cutting-edge,special nomination of objectivity goes to Okten's nomadic embrace of these individuals,the outcasts of Turkish society,hardly literate yet who should be judging one's status by classifying them?Guney had the credits before being thrown into jail,I suppose a person's beliefs do affect the political landscape more than often.
