A documentary crew led by TV host Sebastian Beazley (Billy Zane) expects to film a survival show about a tribe on a remote Philippines island. But the island is also home to something dangerous, as they realize after dead children start falling from the trees. The crew soon discovers that a band of bloodthirsty cannibals who move through the treetops is hunting them down -- with a particular hunger for the pregnant Phoebe (Christina Cole) -- and they must work together to stay alive.

Audience Member It's good to see Joel Torre in a Hollywood film together with Billy Zane. Even the villains are our very own aswang, too bad the movie came out as a B-movie. A film crew is in a remote jungle creating a survival documentary and find a native tribe killed. There is a legend of shape-shifting creatures that want pregnant women for whatever reason, and one man is after hidden gold. There is a lot going on, and some very interesting characters. Acting is pretty good, and the story is fun, if a bit unoriginal.
