It's interesting and entertaining with some iffy acting but it doesn't do anything brand new with the family comedy. It does get pretty dark at time, which I like, but the story dwells in the past. There are a lot of flashbacks, a lot of talking about the past, and the characters are super concerned about the past. I would prefer it to look forward, but it's a good film.
