With moments of heartfelt drama and glimpses of artistic visual storytelling, this Chilean film is worthwhile, but there are also more moving class-based tales. Go to Full Review

Julie B Oct 17 Bummer, downer of a movie. I made myself keep watching it. Irritating characters - so actors did their job well. Maybe the people who read the book would find it interesting how it played out on screen. See more sebastian andres o @Yoamoalcine Oct 16 A masterfully told story, where every detail, gesture, and phrase carries significant narrative weight. The outstanding work of supporting characters, such as Ignacia Baeza, contributes to a greater impact on the narrative. It is a mature and solid work in its presentation, which stands alone at a crossroads characteristic of certain social cinema. Sotomayor stands out as one of the directors who best addresses Chile's social fractures through the intimacy of everyday life. Chilean cinema at its finest, from one of today's most promising and interesting directors. A psychological thriller that delves into the obsession of social cinema, captivating from beginning to end. It’s more of a quiet, introspective drama than something with action or tension. See more Read all reviews
