Kevin L Been thinking of seeing this one for years. Should've kept it at that. Did nothing for me. The Favreau character was annoying as hell the whole way through, while Vaughn was.....Vaughn. At least young obnoxious Vaughn. Still don't find the guy that funny. Livington wasn't much, either. The whole breakup-go-to-Vegas thing has been done much better. 2.7 stars Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Alec C Get ready, get set and prepare to get swinging! As a mild-mannered comedian struggles to get over his past relationship, his womanizing best friend decides to give him the time of his life by showing him the ropes of picking up chicks, leading to a riotous good-time. Bolstered by the chemistry of the two co-leads, this film is a positive reminder of what it means to feel alive and be alive! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Christopher J I Dont Understand Why People like this movie so much it was boring as hell and hardly any laughs and it just felt mindless and the story was going nowhere i was very dissapointed thumbs down Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Audience Member Pretty entertaining. Didn’t have the climax’s I thought it should have bud still entertaining and funny. You can tell Vaughn and Favreau are still finding their acting styles Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/12/22 Full Review Audience Member A bunch of beautiful babies. Gina Fattore Chicago Reader Here is pure exuberance, without all that messy nostalgic yearning. Here is a movie unafraid to come right out and showcase the sheer idiot joy involved in being a boy among boys. Jun 15, 2022 Full Review Michael Wilmington Chicago Tribune "Swingers" doesn't really add up to much -- except a good time. But it's smart, funny and cute. With all that going for you, who needs to be money? Rated: 3/4 Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly Rated: A Sep 7, 2011 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a low-key premise that’s employed to engaging and frequently hilarious effect... Rated: 3.5/4 Nov 13, 2022 Full Review Don Shanahan 25YL (25 Years Later) Wholly admiring bygone eras, this little indie darling bucked the mainstream and dazzled those looking for something dreamy, yet still honest, for its coarse present day. Rated: 4/5 Sep 17, 2021 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy What it lacks as a cutting character drama, it makes up for in easily quaffable lifestyle porn, though it's up for debate whether one of those things is equal to the other.
