A transplanted New Yorker attempting to acclimate to Los Angeles, Mike Peters (Jon Favreau), is struggling to both boost his comedy career and get over his last relationship. A self-proclaimed master of seduction, Mike's buddy, Trent Walker (Vince Vaughn), tries to show him how to make connections and get the attention of women. Been thinking of seeing this one for years. Should've kept it at that. Did nothing for me. The Favreau character was annoying as hell the whole way through, while Vaughn was.....Vaughn. At least young obnoxious Vaughn. Still don't find the guy that funny. Livington wasn't much, either. The whole breakup-go-to-Vegas thing has been done much better. 2.7 stars

Get ready, get set and prepare to get swinging! As a mild-mannered comedian struggles to get over his past relationship, his womanizing best friend decides to give him the time of his life by showing him the ropes of picking up chicks, leading to a riotous good-time. Bolstered by the chemistry of the two co-leads, this film is a positive reminder of what it means to feel alive and be alive!
