Complicating matters is the inter-racial nature of things. Review: I thought this low budget movie "Swirl" would be original and something new but it fell flat. The story wasn't well written and directed it seem like it was missing scenes or something. It wasn't anything challenging it was like a walk thru a interracial relationship dat wasn't believable. The chemistry wasn't there between the main characters in the interracial relationship Beethoven (Carl Anthony Payne II) and Sarah (Stephanie Denise Griffin). I thought Carl Anthony Payne II did a pretty good job he definitely deserves to be taken serious in the movie industry. Stephanie Denise Griffin was just not believable her acting just wasn't too good. The dialogue between the two main characters Beethoven and Sarah was horrible they didn't seem like they were best friends since childhood they didn't have dat bond dat probably killed the movie. Overall I think it was a good idea but just written, directed, edited and acted poorly. Basically the story was pretty weak and wasn't believable doesn't mean they didn't try cuz they probably did everything in the book and more if. Not a really great low budget Romantic comedy movie, no chemistry between the main characters dat killed the romance and it wasn't funny. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
