Kimber Myers The Playlist "Take Care" starts off with an unlikely premise and an unlikeable heroine, but it emerges as a not entirely terrible comedy. Rated: C Dec 5, 2014 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com Eccentrically watchable but not exactly good. Rated: 2/4 Dec 5, 2014 Full Review Andy Webster New York Times The film's director, Liz Tuccillo ... is predictably facile with comic rhythms, though her dialogue tilts toward the glib, and her characterizations toward the familiar. Dec 4, 2014 Full Review John Fink The Film Stage Needy and broad, Take Care is an exhausting experience for all the wrong reasons. Rated: C- Feb 25, 2016 Full Review FILMINK (Australia) It's a simple premise with a plot that doesn't leave you sweating with anticipation about what's going to happen. However, it flies by on the charm of its leads. Jan 22, 2016 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue The shrill and bumbling Frannie doesn't earn our sympathy, and neither does the stereotypical batch of periphery characters. Audience Member LOVE this movie! It's one of my go-to movies. The beginning sequence makes me laugh every time, and I love falling in love with the two leads over and over. The rotten neighbor and the spastically dramatic girlfriend are the icing and sprinkles on top of this delicious cupcake, and I'm sure the Law and Order writers would agree that all their episodes would've been better if they'd featured more jealous women in bedroom slippers. ☺️ I'm totally rooting for a spin-off featuring Jodi and Zumba Guy. 😉 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Seriously underrated romantic comedy! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review elise f I've watched this movie too many times. Why? I love the crazy relationship redo that happens here and the performances are so real and charming they leap off the screen. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Sure, it's a completely unrealistic premise, but that's true for most rom-coms. Eminently watchable! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Poignant, and timely... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one rom-com with a very strange set up to throw our main couple together, but it is overall a rather entertaining bit of fluff.
