The film may not shed any new light on Hamilton, but the footage of him riding 100-foot-high waves is nothing short of awesome. Go to Full Review

Take Every Wave's major fault (and this is true when filming any professional sport) is that the presentation makes it all look too darned easy. Go to Full Review

11/20/2019 Interesting movie and story of this surfing legend and how he carved his own path in life See more 04/23/2018 I had the advantage of seeing this film with Laird in person, providing commentary and answering questions before the screening. He came across as a really decent, humble guy, which was NOT what I anticipated. I thought the film gave insights into Laird's development as the amazing guy he is. He's had an incredible life and it was good to see all the little details. See more 09/29/2017 I feel like I'll sleep tonight with blue green water crashing over my head! A trip into a different life than most of us lead, making the common themes of love, friendship, and family all the more poignant. Our entire family of non-surfers were engrossed all the way through to the jaw-dropping final foil ride! See more Read all reviews
