Surya Komal Just for Movie Freaks Take from Me stands as an impressive indie thriller that punches well above its weight. Mona M Love this movie, I’m not a real fan of vampires but when the love story came into play I was won over. The emptiness of losing someone close can be devastating and life isn’t the same until someone comes along that fills that loss. The actors were awesome. Kept me connected and waiting for more. I was sad that it ended so fast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/31/25 Full Review Traven W Thought I would throw something on to watch not expecting much. Sheesh. The production value was solid, sounded great. The character John had my attention throughout the movie. If you're looking for something to watch tonight give it shot. I don't feel it's easy for independent films to make quality stuff sometimes, but this was great. Ethan McDowell plays John and he did a really job of playing a role that required quite a range of emotions. Also shout out to Kyla Diane Kennedy and Dwayne A. Thomas for their performances as well. Nice surprise. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/25 Full Review Charlene S This is from the studio Bayview Entertainment?? Every single trailer I have seen from this studio has had the worst acting. I almost skipped over it but decided to search for the trailer. I'm glad I did because it's a worthwhile watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/28/25 Full Review Reagan S I typically don’t watch thrillers or horror films, but Take From Me completely hooked me from the start. I found this on a whim while scrolling through what to watch. For an indie film, the quality was fantastic — beautifully shot, perfectly paced, and genuinely gripping. The acting was top-notch across the board, and I was especially touched by the little boy in the film towards the end. I’ve seen him before and some of the actors in other movies, but he brought such a natural sweetness that softened the tension and added an emotional layer that stayed with me. I went in with no expectations and walked away blown away. Take From Me manages to be suspenseful, emotional, and unforgettable — highly recommend giving it a watch!
