Tina Kakadelis Beyond the Cinerama Dome Nov 18
Take from Me masks itself as a slow burn of a thriller, but it’s really a melancholic exploration of the hold grief has on all of us. Go to Full Review

Despite a bloated runtime, “Take From Me” offers a thoughtful glimpse into addiction, misery, and the willpower to recover. West Eldredge gives the audience more than their helping of blood and something far beyond a shallow interpretation of vampires. Go to Full Review

Writer and director West Eldredge’s first feature is an uneven start, but you will want to stick around because the mistakes seem promising. “Take from Me” can be predictable, but then it zags when you expect it to zig. Go to Full Review

Dustin S @NicaraguaR Dec 15 It’s original and it’s fantastic and you should go out of your way to see it. See more PathtotheGOAT . @PathtotheGOAT Nov 24 I thought this was a riveting thriller with many layers, well textured characters and a narrative that was very fleshed out (no pun intended.. or is it?) This was one of the more valiant efforts in genre bending as the film centers on this man dealing with grief and his slow descent as he wallows in his pain and grapples with his sense of purpose. He is rejuvenated when he meets a woman with a unique set of circumstances that he feels he can truly help. Gritty cinematography, stellar performances and an intriguing story, made this a very compelling and satisfying watch! See more Andrew W Nov 22 The director is one to keep an eye out for. This is someone in their infancy who is already showing a unique eye and strong talent. Ultimately a B grade film but it is a film that does a lot with limited resources, with some powerful moments and strong thematic undercurrents. The three main actors impressed also, delivering heartfelt scenes, and managing to transcend an uneven script (which also had flashes of inspiration and hints at future brilliance). See more @Eduardo211 Nov 8 I randomly chose this movie. Checked it quickly against what rotten tomatoes was saying. Not a lot of reviews to really get a broad consensus. What there is small amount of positive reviews. So gave it a go. Never heard of anyone involved in it but that obviously doesn’t have to be a bad thing as constantly find little nuggets of gold where you don’t expect. I found the production of the film to be pretty good for a low budget project and the acting pretty solid. The two leads gave good performances and I was invested in their vampiric romance. Anyway thought would add my two cents or rather pence and join the consensus. See more prawnda s Sep 29 i havent watched this film yet, but the first two reviews in a row out of 6 total at the time of writing this have spoilers in the first sentence. somehow i know it will stay this way permanently regardless of whether i report the issue. get your sh*t together, rotten tomatoes. See more Joel P Sep 26 Vampire films never really make sense and this one isn't any different. Perhaps with better direction and imagination this could have been better. The story isn't bad. But the State Police and FBI would be all over the murders here. Attention: No person I've ever met has hair hanging down in front of their face, blocking their eyes, constantly, even when driving at night. So stupid. See more Read all reviews
