The murder plot has all the elements of a neo-noir police story while the drama combines psychological and supernatural elements in equal parts. But the way the supernatural enters the main plot is so smart and intelligent that the viewer is allowed multiple readings from the purely fantastical perspective to a more psychological or scientific explanation such as feeling of guilt, lack of sleep, job pressure or insecurity.
