Harry C Fantastic to see the original cut of this cult classic, it's campy and corny and fun Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/24/23 Full Review tom k This is both the stupidest and the greatest film ever made! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed every camp minute of this cinematic masterpiece. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Wow. I'm speechless. That being said, Walker & Richards were obviously snubbed by the Academy... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/27/20 Full Review michael d This movie was really bad, and not in a "it's so bad it's good" kind of way. I saw that the new "gore" uncut version got 100% from the critics, so I gave it a shot. But I didn't notice until afterwards that the sample size was 6 obscure critics. I expected the special effects to be bad, and they were. No surprise there. But the acting was also horrible, the camera work was clunky and amateurish, the music was lousy, the plot was ridiculous (even if you were willing to suspend belief to play along), and the gay character was a caricature (like many other characters) about whom a cop warned "don't drop anything and bend over around him". What a complete waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I was already way on board for Tammy and the T-Rex, but when I realised that Paul Walker's brain wasn't going to be put in to a T-Rex, but specifically a T-Rex animatronic, forget about it, this instantly became must-watch material. I wasn't disappointed. I don't think I'm comfortable telling people that this movie is, "good", exactly, but boy did it deliver on what I wanted. Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast It is a lot of campy fun, to be sure, but what might surprise you is the enormous heart the film has, thanks in no small part to Denise Richards' incredibly earnest and sincere performance. Rated: 4/5 Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Joe Lipsett Horror Queers Podcast This delightfully silly film has an incredibly earnest performance from Denise Richards, surprisingly gory FX, and a pair of deliciously hammy performances by Ellen Dubin and Shevonne Durkin (as Helga and Wendy respectively) Rated: 4/5 May 31, 2023 Full Review Dallas King Flick Feast It might not have been the filmmakers’ intentions, but it will now find Raptor-ous applause with the late night cult horror crowd. Mainly down to the reinstated special effects that crank up the gore factor to a satisfyingly absurd level. Rated: 3/5 Nov 11, 2022 Full Review Jorge Loser Espinof 'Tammy and the T-Rex' is one of those films that you have to see to believe, with friends and a barrel of beer, and that makes you reconsider the Kamikaze humor of director Stewart Raffill. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 21, 2020 Full Review Terry Mesnard Gayly Dreadful Tammy and the T-Rex is stupid fun. I've been a bit glib in this review, but I unabashedly enjoyed this movie. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 6, 2019 Full Review Shaun Munro Flickering Myth Ludicrously, brilliantly weird; a "bad" movie that, by embracing its campy tone and demonstrating a slight-but-significant self-awareness, is really anything but.
