Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A old school Kung Fu movie filmed in 1972. Opening title screen informs us of the lost films of Jackie Chan, whose name is on the cover of this film, It came in as a double movie set from Ground Zero, know as Black Belt Theatre, Brutal Boxer and Shaolin One. This review is for Brutal Boxer, Cover says Jackie Chan is in this movie, if he was I didn't see him, I am sure back in 72 he was a rather young man. I read a review on Amazon that says he slid across floor, that may be the case, if he slid, he slid right by me. The film opens up with two guys eating at what they think is there Uncle's restaurant, but come to find out it's now owned by a mob boss and these fellers don't have the money to pay for the meals, so begins the first fight, the old school kung fu type fighting, you know where 30 guys can whip two guys, and everyone bounces around the room and no one gets the idea of all attacking at once. Anyway for the next 74 minutes that?s all we see is basically fighting, these old school kung fu movies never had much of a plot or story line, just whack, wham, pow. The last 15 minutes is about the bloodiest kung fu movie I have ever seen, Of course there?s a pretty girl involved but she doesn't last long. I don't rate these early day kung fu movies very hi, matter fact its almost torcher for me to watch them, this one is no exception, Got this out of the $1.00 bin and its the only reason I would ever put it in my DVD Player. 1 1/2 stars.
