While far from Disney's greatest film, Tangled is a visually stunning, thoroughly entertaining addition to the studio's classic animated canon.

Tom Charity CNN.com This snappy role reversal may or may not appeal to young men, but it inspires some classic knockabout screwball comedy and an exciting, vertiginous escape sequence. Dec 8, 2014 Full Review Richard Corliss TIME Magazine This is your basic, and very enjoyable, Disney princess musical, an empowerment tale to teach bright, dreamy girls how to grow to maturity -- and outgrow the adults in charge. Dec 8, 2014 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard If this is what old-fashioned means, then bring it on. Dec 8, 2014 Full Review Michael Clark Epoch Times Bolstered by an array of snappy original songs composed by Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater in tandem with a superbly droll screenplay by Dan Fogelman, “Tangled” is eminently captivating, impossible to resist and, for the easily prone, tear-jerking. Rated: 4/5 Sep 4, 2023 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review It’s all very bright and colorful, no doubt accentuated beyond the norm for the sake of 3D’s downfall dimming effect. Still, there’s no sense of wonder about the production. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 3, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Tiyana C This film tells the story of a princess locked in a tower by her false mother. One day, she decides to escape. Tangled is a perfect movie. It is both funny and interesting. It brings joy because it reminds me of my childhood. The animation is beautiful and of very good quality. The characters are endearing, especially Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, who form a duo full of humor and tenderness. The songs are catchy and add charm to the story. The adventure is captivating, with moments of suspense and emotion. Tangled is a movie that makes you dream and smile. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/25 Full Review Eva B This film is named Tangled and it was released in 2010. It was created by Nathan Greno and Byron Howard. It is a Disney movie. Moreover Tangled is a cartoon : the main characters are voiced by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi. The plot is about a girl named Tangled with beautiful long hair. It has the power of keeping young when she sings. A mean woman kidnapped her from her parents when she was a baby and she kept her in a huge tower with no access to the world. She grew up and decided to run away to discover the world… The characters are very well voiced : the voices really match with their faces and I think that the feelings of the characters is well represented. It really fulfills my expectations, however, I think that the English version is not the best : there are a lot of songs and it is well sang but this version doesn’t completely give the right feelings. Also the film techniques are really interesting because, even if it is a cartoon, there is a lot of details and the faces expressions are well represented. The costumes are good but don’t change so it is a little boring even if they are elaborate. The soundtrack is amazing : all the actions are shown with sound or music and it makes you feel like you’re inside the movie. Tangled tells an important message especially for children ; be careful about who you trust. It tells you that you can not be certain that the ones that you love are worthy of your trust and even your love. This message it’s conveyed with a lot of characters who lies and tries to manipulate. They really are convincing because the director chose realistic events that happens in reality to make you realize the danger. To conclude, Tangled is one of my favorite movies because of its humour, its message but also because of the plot that is really touching. The movie talk about a lot of subjects that are really important and this is why I live it so much. I hope you will enjoy but you have to to watch it Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/25 Full Review Anastasia T This movie was directed by Glen Keane, Nathan Greno, Byron Howard. Based on the fairytale Rapunzel by the Brothers Grimm, the film stars Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, the originals voices of the mains characters Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. The film tells a story of a young girl named Rapunzel, who has very long golden hair, locked by " her mother " in a tower because " the world outside is too dangerous. But the biggest dream of the young girl is to see the illumination of the sky for the missing princess's birthday. The plot is shoking and emotional, the movie turned in an other way more dark but not too much I found the special effects very impressive, the way Rapunzel's hair is animated is very fluid and detailed and I love It. The use of lightening, and the colors is expectly done wich create a magical atmosphere, like in the scene with the lanternes, It's beautiful ! As the photography of the film wich is as incredible, there is no mistake, the quality of the image is perfect with a lot of details. The actors voices reflect perfectly the emotions of the character It's amazing the characters looks real, they have made an very good work. I found the script really original it’s a beautiful story with a touch of humor and I loved the twist with the “mother” being the real villain. Overall, I really enjoyed this film that I actually watched like 4 or 5 times. It is fort both kids and adults, it’s for everyone ! And I strongly recommend to watch It And you what do you think ? Did rapunzel finally escape her tower while keeping her mon, beautiful hair and meeting her Prince Charming ? Or did she stay patiently in her tower ? Watch Rapunzel to know it !
