While studying in the remotest regions of Africa, archaeologist Dr. Brooks (E. Alyn Warren) is kidnapped and held hostage by a tribe of jungle dwellers. Lucky for him, he happens to be a friend of Tarzan (Buster Crabbe), the noble hero raised by apes in the continent's darkest forests. With the help of Brooks' daughter, Mary (Jacqueline Wells), Tarzan searches the jungle to find and rescue the scientist, but little does he know Mary's safari guides have insidious plans of their own.

08/27/2011 This movie makes no sense! They should have shown more respect for the Tarzan franchise. See more 07/01/2011 This is a very basic Tarzan adventure. Buster Crabbe who also played Flash Gordon, may have been a good Flash Gordon but he plays Tarzan like a Caveman. This movie was edited from 12 serials. Only watch if you are a serial Tarzan fan and even then only for historical reasons. Sin embargo, Tarzan the Fearless (1933) tiene todo lo que un simple y ordinario filme de aventuras de bajo presupuesto -aquellos de matinee- debe tener. Aquí Tarzan es interpretado por Buster Crabbe (quien también interpretara a Flash Gordon en muchas ocasiones), y el tipo no hace otra cosa más que dar vida a una especie de parodia del "Rey de la Jungla". Vamos, el Tarzan que el director Robert F. Hill nos presenta es poco más que un cromagnon con cerebro de neanderthal. Esta película forma parte de una serie de pequeños filmes de Tarzan (varios actores encarnaron al "hombre mono"), en donde hasta el famoso grito del héroe sonaba ridículo. Algo como un aullido, nada relacionado con el resonante grito cantor de Weissmuller.
